Our History

The origin story of these songs starts way back in 1985 when Brendan wrote songs for his young children, songs to replace nonsensical nursery rhymes and instead gave them something of value to remember. Eventually others started requesting the songs and the first album (Bible Songs) was made, and by popular demand was sold to many around the world. Initially recorded and released on classic cassette tapes, then in CD form and now as MP3 downloads, these songs have been cherished by families for years.

Some original listeners are now buying these albums for their grandchildren! Even though primarily aimed at children, much thought and serious work goes into composing and recording these songs, and their message is clear and summed up well in Eccl 12:13. Way back then there were limited resources for young children in regards to fun music that was also spiritual. Hardly anyone had heard a song with Jehovah's name in it outside of a place of worship.

Today of course there are many songs and even videos available for children from JW.org to keep them entertained spiritually. However, at a time when no such material was available, these songs Brendan wrote were, and continue to be a way to encourage young ones to make and maintain strong bond with Our God and Father, Jehovah. And for many children, it made loving Jehovah fun. The object of this website remains the same: keeping these nostalgic, foundational songs alive and accessible for today's digital generation, while adding new material when possible.
